Supporting Leadership Development in Neurodiverse Employees

12 Mar 2024
Neurodiversity

As a leader with ADHD, Sandi views being neurodiverse as a superpower. Neurodiversity is, of course, quite complex, but at its crux is an incredible opportunity for employers to have access to a phenomenal talent pool. Many neurodiverse people have been excluded from the workforce for behaviours that are deemed nonnormative, and this is a missed opportunity. Neurodiverse people challenge the norms, provide alternative routes to problem-solving and unlock potential and possibilities that others may not even know exist. Using the concept of psychological safety as a framework, Sandi will explore how employers can support and encourage neurodiverse employees to take on leadership roles.
