Ben has worked for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals for 21 years. For14 of those, he was an RSPCA Inspector in South East London and Manchester, dealing with sick, injured, neglected and abused animals and their owners, and 4 years as a Chief Inspector in Manchester. Since 2022, he has been part of the RSPCA's Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, firstly as the Wellbeing Advisor, and now as a H&S Advisor. Ben trained as a TRiM (Trauma Risk Management) Practitioner in 2022, and then as a TRiM Manager in 2023, helping to support the RSPCA’s TRiM scheme; a peer to peer support service for those exposed to traumatic events.
