Dr Caroline Flurey is an Associate Professor of Men's Health and Long Term Conditions at University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol. Dr Flurey has a background in health psychology and her primary research focus is experiences, coping strategies and support needs of men with long term conditions, particularly within rheumatology. She also supervises PhD, Prof Doc, MSc and BSc students on projects focusing on a range of men's health and mental wellbeing issues. Dr Flurey is a trustee for Men and Boys Coalition, the umbrella charity for the UK men and boys' health and wellbeing sector, and a past-President of British Health Professionals in Rheumatology.
