Steve chairs the Council for Work and Health and teh Growing Occupational Health & Wellbeing Together Steering Group for NHSE (a national programme to strengthen OH availability in the NHS). He was the FO's Chief Examiner to the Diploma in Occupational Medicine for 19.5 years, Chair of its Ethics Committee for 5 years and sits on FOM Council currently. He sits on NHSE's Expert Advisory Group on Staff Health and has been on the Steering Board for Britain's Healthest Workplace since its inception.
