I am the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Lead for Severn Trent. Last year was the first time I attended this event and was very lucky to do so a week into my new role. My background is in Business Change as opposed to Occupational Health so the event was a fantastic opportunity to understand current thinking and research with regard to Occupational Health & Wellbeing. It really helped me and my team reflect on our strategy and consider whether we had included everything we needed to meet our vision. We’ll definitely be attending in the future. Thanks!

As the UK Clinical Lead for Mondelēz International, myself and my team are regular annual attendees of this fantastic event. Understandably, we cannot all attend the complete 2 days individually as we have to continue to deliver services for our UK workforce (circa 6000) so we review the programme once published and decide which day best suits our interests/learning and development needs, then come together afterwards to share information from our day, with lots of ‘round the table' discussion. It is a hugely enjoyable learning arena and great value for money. Definitely our favourite ‘go-to’ event. Fantastic CPD days and superb networking opportunity – lots of ideas, best practice and new products. It is always exceptionally well organised, with a broad spectrum of seminars, key speakers and topics that are very relevant to current practice/issues. Something for everyone.

As UK Health & Wellness Manager for PepsiCo UK, I have attended the Health & Wellbeing at Work conference at the NEC. The choice of talks was vast, and I had a hard job narrowing it down! Those I did attend were really valuable for benchmarking, best practice, knowledge update and networking. The exhibition hall also gave me a valuable opportunity to talk to suppliers and organisations about their products and ideas, as well as to share information on what PepsiCo’s focus was in this area. A fantastic event and well worth a visit – I will be back!

I currently work as an HR Business Partner. One of the most difficult areas for us to manage is stress, anxiety and other mental illness which unfortunately has become much more widespread in the modern world and work. We have a dedicated Occupational Health team who assist us with making adjustments in the workplace so we can ensure our core focus is on employee health and wellbeing. My regular attendance at this conference each year has always been a valuable experience. I have learnt much more than I had anticipated and met with a wealth of other professionals over the last two years whom have become part of my network. I would encourage other HR professionals to take advantage of this excellent conference and I do hope it continues to be a regular annual feature for many more years.

I am the lead ergonomist for Royal Mail and have attended the Health and Wellbeing at Work event for the past four years (I think!). I really enjoy the event because there is a great atmosphere for networking and I am always spoilt for choice with the wide range of interesting and informative presentations and exhibition stands. I always take useful ideas back to implement in my workplace. I already have it in my diary.
Dr Corinne Parsons, Lead Ergonomist, Royal Mail Group Safety, Health and Environment
I work as the onsite physiotherapist at Gatwick Airport alongside a team of four occupational health advisors, delivering advice and treatment to over 3000 airport staff. I have been attending this event for the past three years with my colleagues. I enjoy networking with fellow occupational health physicians, updating my knowledge and skills. This event will continue to remain a regular fixture in my diary for the foreseeable future. Keep up the good work.
Garry Mitchell, Occupational Health Physiotherapist, Gatwick Airport
As a safety professional I have seen a clear shift in focus from a traditional safety approach to a better understanding of health issues and wellbeing in the workplace. The Health at Work conference has been invaluable in gaining a wider insight into the potential future challenges UK businesses may face. From increasing my own knowledge and awareness I have been able to develop organisational health, safety & wellbeing strategies to complement and enhance wider business aims and objectives. There are so many conference streams to choose from it can sometimes prove difficult to decide on which ones to attend!

BAM Nuttall is a large civil engineering company with c3000 employees around the UK. As HR Director, I am always looking for new, innovative and engaging ways of improving the health and well-being of our employees and finding ways of enabling our managers to support this. Attending the show for the last two years has really helped me achieve this.
